LVCVA (Visit Las Vegas) Social

PROBLEM
Despite being the most well known Vegas tourism advertiser (What Happens Here, Stays Here), the LVCVA social content failed to stand out against the individual casinos and other Vegas travel organizations. Users couldn’t distinguish the endless photos of Vegas hotels and attractions amongst the dozens of social accounts. I was tasked with differentiating the official VIsit Las Vegas social content across all social platforms.

IDEA
Brand Identity
Utilizing a font based on the famous Flamingo sign, I created a templated system to create ownership and uniqueness for the Visit Las Vegas content. From pull quotes to social best practice (at the time) hashtag labeling, our content would stand out and be able to carry additional messaging while still delivering the glamor shots of Vegas that people love.

Content Series
I created several content series to allow for more ownable Vegas content while also adding new viewpoints and POVs to the classic hotel profile shot. Using underwater cameras, vintage photography and simple camera tricks, we celebrated Vegas in a visually striking, dynamic content format.

RESULTS
Visit Las Vegas’ social content achieved its highest engagement month over month and year over year in its social media history.
