PHRMA Illustrations of Hope Social

PROBLEM
There are incredibly powerful, hopeful messages from patients who have benefited from the breakthroughs of members of PhRMA. But these messages of hope are often difficult to get across in the short-attention-span, visually-focused world of social.

IDEA
When a patient tells their story, every word has the potential to provide hope and inspiration for others like them. Using testimonial footage from the larger Go Boldly campaign, we took some of the most powerful quotes and partnered with artist Cyla Costa to create moving posters. Pairing video and audio from the patients with footage of Cyla making the posters, we created a dynamic social campaign that used these beautiful posters to draw social users in and learn more about the patients’ powerful stories.

RESULTS
Illustrations of Hope were the highest performing social posts of the Go Boldly campaign.
